Unlike McGowan, Adjei’s gown was an all-black, sheer floor-length gown that tastefully accentuated her body with black crystals and a collar that enveloped her neck and flared out to resemble Gathercole’s signature look.

He got his first workout with an NBA team last Tuesday (Manila time) with the Utah Jazz and the team’s Vice President for Player Personnel Walter Perrin acknowledged that like any player coming from overseas, there is an air of mystery surrounding Parks, Jr.
“Without travel to Philippines, yes he was a mystery,” Perin said after the pre-draft workout session.
Back in 2010, Parks, Jr. was rated no. 34 at his position by Rivals.com, US’ no. 1 authority on college basketball recruiting. But he got lost in the radar of the NBA scouts when he decided to return to the Philippines to be with his cancer-stricken father, who got a job as sports consultant to a transitioning National University Bulldogs.
Parks, Jr. helped the Bulldogs become a contender in the UAAP overnight. But along the way, he lost the attention of the NBA scouts.
